A gorgeous traditional amber Venetian ceiling lantern with a black or chrome frame, entirely hand-produced on the famous glass-making island of Murano in the Venetian lagoon, in a choice of amber scavo, clear baloton or antique satin glass

The cage for this beautiful lantern is first fashioned from steel wire. The glass-master then blows the molten glass into the frame where it expands into the lovely curved shape you see here, before it is allowed to cool.
